• Will use real human instead of just black silhouette.

1st option: kindergarten kids (4-6 y/o) 
2nd option: primary - secondary school kids (7 - 18 y/o)

Changes in execution method

After much research and consultation, my execution method have changed.

Execution method: Door Ads
Place: Taylor's University Lakeside Campus (Block B level 1)

Materials : Window Decals
  Reason : Can be done inside, outside or even inside facing out.
Cutting option: Halo Cut
  Reason : Halo cut have borders. As it is going to stick on a glass door, the brightness and darkness of the room will affect ppl to see the window decals, and with the borders, even if the room inside is bright or dark, the window decal is still able to be seen.

How?

Stick on glass door with window decals

Why?
Can be done on the outside, the inside or even from the inside facing out.
cut option: contour cut (clear cut with no borders)

Mr sam: Poster & Walkerlator / escalator ads are too normal, everyone is doing it. The way of knowing issit effective might not have to ask parents, can have survey for students to fill or interview them. survey for response and effectiveness (10 will do)


New Execution method: Door ads
Place: Admission / D.O office door (place that mostly parents would go)
Aim/objective: To let other people know what autistic need the most is support

Target Audience: Low income parents

Let other people know having autism being mean weird, autistic people are just different from us.

Problem statement:
Autism is becoming more and more common now a days but still there is a lot of people that don’t really understand and doesn’t accept or support the autistic people. What autistic people really need is to have people support them and other people need to truly understand what is autism and how autism people are to support them. As for the parents of the autistic child, they need to know a lot knowledge of autism to take good care of their child, and as a parent, they need to fully support their autistic child.

Objective:
Let the people know about acceptance and understanding of their family,peers or other people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and most importantly, support them.

Parents: 

• Some of the parents can’t accept that their children have autism and they feel ashamed of them. 
• Some parents might even abandon them or send them away. 
• Some of the parents accept that their children have autism but after some time, they will breakdown and give up. 
• Some parents don’t know how to take care of their autistic child properly. 

Example: A Bronx mom is suspected of shooting her 12 year old autistic son, and then committing suicide. The mother, Michaela Jackson allegedly snapped and killed herself and her son, Kenneth Holmes. 

Family:

• Some family members feel ashamed that their sibling is autism and they won’t admit that he or she is one of their family member. 
• Some family might have accept that their sibling is autism but after they being laugh at, bully and look down by other people just because they have a sibling that is autism, they will not want to admit that they have a sibling that is autism.

Example: Laura is the mother of three children, boys, and the oldest (Matthew) is autistic. In the chapter I just finished, she writes about driving some children on a field trip for her second born , Andy. During the drive, she hears whispering and snickering from the back. She looks in the mirror and sees her son with tears in his eyes. She asks what is going on, and one of the kids says, “Andy’s brother is a retard!” 

Society:

• Some people will look at the autism people weirdly, some might try to even stay a distance with them, some might even walk away from them. 
• Some people might just bully them just to entertain themselves. 

Example: 20 year old nonverbal, autistic man was left in a van for 5 hours. He was left in the van by caregivers. Two caregivers were in the van and three other residents. The other three were taken out of the van, yet this poor soul wasn’t.

Autism

After much thoughts, I decide to do about Autism. I've watch some videos of autism awareness video and I was really inspired to do about autism.
